Domestic Shipping
Please allow a 24-hour turnaround time for confirmation and
shipment on all orders. For example, wine orders received on Monday
by 5 pm PST will be sent out on Tuesday. You are given several
shipping options at the time that you place your order, and only at
certain times of the year is UPS Ground Shipping an alternative. We
encourage you to think carefully about the weather before selecting
the less expensive UPS Ground Shipping, as NVWE cannot be
responsible to damage to your wine from hot weather or cold
weather. We do, however, recommend ground shipping for CA, OR, and
WA unless you request faster service. For all other states, UPS and
Fedex two and three day air service are most often recommended.
During periods of extreme hot or cold weather, we reserve the right
to hold your order and ship when better conditions are met.
Shipping to a residence is slightly more expensive and results in
more failed deliveries than shipping to a business address -
shipping to a business addresses is strongly encouraged.
We ship to many places however all wines are sold in California
and ownership passes to the buyer in California.

Napa Valley Winery Exchange makes no representation as to your
right to import wine into any state beyond California. The buyer is
solely responsible for shipment of wines. By ordering, you
authorize us to act on your behalf and to engage a common carrier
to deliver your order to the address where you would like it
delivered. Only persons 21 years of age or older are able to order
and accept delivery of wine. By placing an order, you represent
that you are at least 21 years of age, and that the person
accepting delivery is at least 21 years of age.
Online Orders
By placing your online order, you represent that you are 21
years of age. All shipments of alcoholic beverages within the
United States require an adult's signature at the time of delivery
(another good reason to ship to a business address!)

We currently ship to the following states: Alaska, Arizona,
Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Iowa,
Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska,
Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon,
Puerto Rico, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin
and Wyoming.

International Shipping
Our store ships a great deal of wine to Japan via Yamato Express . If you
wish to arrange shipping to Japan, we suggest that you select your
wines by viewing our wine
shop , and then send us an
email finalizing your order. We will reply with an
acknowledgement of shipping date and rates. Duties and taxes will
be calculated and collected in Japan. When ordering, be sure to
include full name and address, postal code, telephone number, email
address, credit card number and expiration date.
If you wish to ship internationally to another country, it is
possible but you will need to contact us by phone 800-653-WINE
(9463) or email to arrange for
a customized shipping quote.
Returns
We guarantee that you will be delighted with any wine that you
purchase here. If this is ever not true, please bring it to our
attention and we will make the situation right.
