NVWE NOTES: This is a densely extracted, but surprisingly forthcoming Petite Sirah, with aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, black peppercorns, vanilla, dark chocolate and dark forest earth. It is ultra-plush on the palate, with glass-staining color and flavors of super ripe cherries, chocolate, black figs and black pepper. The finish is lingering and the tannins moderate, so current enjoyment is not impaired. Best served with ripe cheeses or darkly caramelized beef roasts.
